Meet Budgeby Parrot – lifeguard extraordinaire, sun-seeker, and all-round beach bon vivant! Eyes to sea and poised for action, he spends his days scanning the waves from his lookout perch (usually keeping an eye on Peanut’s outrageous water sports).

Broox Bat has a problem... he doesn’t like the dark. He’s not scared of it, he’d just rather avoid it (at all costs!). That means no cinema trips, no nighttime flights, and absolutely no tours of haunted houses. Plus, he can only sleep with his nightlight right beside him (yes, it’s glued to the ceiling). If you’re looking for a bat to get brunch with, Broox will be there. Just don’t invite him to dinner!

Brooke Otter is a mudlark by passion and profession (self-declared). While her pals perfect their backstroke, she’s scavenging the banks of the Thames, bright eyes gleaming at the prospect of finding new trinkets and treasures. Some say she’s an optimist. Brooke prefers “long-term investor” – those rusty bottle caps? Future fortune. (Just you wait!) Mudlarking is even better with friends. Brooke loves to share her finds with Nippit Beaver – although his enthusiasm for dented teaspoons is, at best, polite…

Birthdays, Mother’s Day, anniversaries – even Bartholomew’s debut as Bumble Hoops cheerleader (striped bee costume and all): if there’s an occasion, it’s on Amuseables Bouquet of Flowers’ radar. That said, she’s just as quick to notice the little things, right down to an extra dusting of cocoa on her latte. And when she does? She always finds a way to say thank you (preferably with petals).
