Features of the Nuna Rava Carseat

Simpl secure installation – makes instal a breeze. The seat uses a belt tightening clamp built into the seat so a tight and firm install is easy to acheive. The belt is fed through the seat once the true tension door is closed the seat is installed to a very tight fit… so much so that our hands on we could shake the vehicle witht the seat, but had to put in minimal effort on the install.

Bubble-free install – WHAT? you heard that right. There is no allignment bubble or lines on the outside of the seat. The seat has been tested in almost every conceivable configuration and throughout all of it’s 10 RECLINE positions so that you don’t have to adjust the seat to get a level fit. NO pool noodles and towels stuffed under this seat to get the right angle or fit.
All belt installs – always the right install. We love latch install on carseats but the guidelines for using latch to install a seat are through 50 pounds (including the weight of the seat) This means that many parents are driving around with a seat installed via latch that acutally needs to be belt installed because their child has outgrown the latch limits. Because the Nuna RAVA features such a simple secure installation with the belt (and virtually effortless) your child will be in the right install for the duration. If the install with the belt was complicated or difficult, we would definatly not be in favor of the latchless install, but we found from our hands on that the simplified belt install was superior to most all of the latch installs on similar seats. We are still in-favor of the rigid latch install you find on the Pipa, but for a convertible we think this superior belt install is the bees knees.
Extended leg room – because this seat can be (and should be) used to 50 pounds rear facing there are lots of parental concerns over leg room. Nuna Rava addresses this with an extended leg room option on the install rear facing. The leg rest in the RAVA extends out and becomes more of a platform for the child to rest their legs. A super nice feature to make the ride more comfortable.

USE

Rear Facing – 5–50 lbs and 49 in or less suggested usage up to at least 2 years of age and many advocates reccommend use rear facing to age 4 or the maximum height/weight limits of the chair
Forward Facing – 30–65 lbs and 49 in or less suggested usage 2 years of age or older
