Amuseables Peanut ‘Après Ski’ skis like he was born on the slopes. (He wasn’t, of course. He was born in a shell, in fairly flat terrain – but we don’t talk about that.) Whether carving through powder or giving impromptu lessons to Ricky Rain Frog (who’s mainly here for the fondue), he’s utterly in his element. But the real event? You’ll find him holding court on the terrace – regaling Bartholomew Bear and Bashful Bunny with tales of double black diamonds and near-miss snowploughs. Modest? Not exactly. But with moves like his, who could blame him?

Amuseables Gingerbread House says, “a house is only a home if there are treats in every room.” A seasoned sweet smuggler with secret stashes everywhere, he makes sure that no-one is left without a treat. There are candy canes in the chimney, chocolate buttons in the walls, and a just-in-case truffle tucked behind the sugar wreath (emergencies only). So, if you’re ever short on something delicious, just follow the smell of cinnamon and knock twice. He’s probably got something hidden in the skirting board...

Luxe Bunny Pine is a self-taught treehouse designer – though “designer” might be a stretch... Architect of branches, blankets and wildly ambitious floorplans, he’s forever up a ladder with a pencil behind one ear and a mug of tea in the other. His aesthetic? Cozy-woodland-conceptual. Think moss carpets, acorn sinks, and retractable rope bridges. When he’s not dreaming up new treehouses, he’s trying to draw up plans for his debut foraging hut – but he admits it’s very much a work in progress! If you ask nicely, he might just design you your own leafy loft.

Bashful Bunny ‘Snow Suit’ has a winter obsession – and it’s not hot chocolate (though she won’t say no). It’s snowmen. Meticulously sculpted and lovingly maintained, she’s even built one entirely from marshmallows! Her creations aren’t just snowmen, though. They’re friends. Some with hats, some with earmuffs, and all built with care – though she does have to avoid the odd snowball from Amuseables Peanut (he just can’t help himself). She’s already saved you a scarf and some buttons. Shall we build one together?

Bartholomew Bear has discovered snowboarding. Sort of. He’s mostly discovered the outfits. Now fully insulated in his fluff-trimmed snowsuit (complete with pretend zip and imaginary lift pass), he’s taken to the slopes in signature style: slow, steady, and with regular dance breaks. He talks a big game – “black runs only” – but his snowboard is mostly for posing, and his goggles have never seen a flake. Still, he looks the part. And for Bartholomew, that’s half the fun. (The other half is fondue.)

She may be pocket-sized, but Little Penguin has big dreams. Mountainous, actually. One day, she’ll be a world-famous geologist, swapping snowdrifts for lava flows and ski season for volcanic activity. (There are only so many frozen pebbles a little bird can collect.) For now, though, she’s perfecting her climb on the nearest snow pile – and taking frequent naps in between. Chip Seagull’s promised to look for flights to Hawaii. Until then, she’s keeping her suitcase packed.
